Policies & Waivers

All prices are in Canadian dollars. We require a 50% deposit to reserve the space. The remaining 50% is due on November 15. For bookings made after December 15, the full amount is due. We accept American Express, MasterCard, VISA, certified checks, money orders, or wire transfers.

Upon making a reservation at Baldface, all guests agree to these terms and conditions:

1. All guests are required to sign a waiver before being allowed to ski with us. By signing this document, guests will waive certain legal rights, including the right to sue. Please read this form carefully before signing. If you do not have access to the Internet and would like to see a copy of this waiver prior to arrival, please contact us by phone at (250) 352-0006, or by email at info@baldface.net, and we will be happy to send one to you.

2. Alcohol or non-prescription drugs are not permitted while skiing or snowboarding.

3. All participants must be 19 years of age or older, unless accompanied by a parent or guardian.

4. All guests are responsible for arriving to the transfer on time. Late arrivals will be charged a $200 per person ground transport fee and often cannot be accommodated until sometime the following day.

Group Bookings & Discounts

Baldface offers one free seat for those who organize a group of twelve. All aspects of organizing the group are left to the group leader. To qualify for the free seat, we require that the entire trip is paid for with one payment transaction.

Ski Rentals

Fat ski rentals, which are offered on a first-come, first-served basis, are $25/day. On your arrival night, feel free to check out our collection of skis and with the help of our guides, get set up with the pair that suits you -- and the conditions -- best.

Cancellation Policy

If we receive a cancellation 6 months in advance, you will get a full refund minus a $100 administration fee per seat.

If we receive a cancellation 45 days before your trip, 50% of the trip cost is non-refundable and any remainder will be refunded.

Cancellations within 45 days of your trip date receive no refund.

Guest who cancel have the option of finding a replacement to fill their seat. We will accommodate this at no charge if the guests transfer funds amongst themselves. If we have to charge the new guest and refund the old guest there will be a $100 administration fee deducted from each seat refunded.

All cancellations must be received in writing. Reservations will not be held until payment is received.

There are no exceptions to our policies so we strongly suggest that all guests purchase trip insurance including: trip cancellation insurance, medical insurance, helicopter evacuation insurance, personal insurance, and liability insurance.

Refund Policy

In the rare case that skiing must be cancelled due to mechanical failure, Baldface will provide ski credits for the time missed, which can be applied to another trip. We will not provide a refund for accommodation or meals that have been used.

Baldface is not responsible for weather-related issues. The company reserves the right to decide when a credit is appropriate for unfavorable conditions or weather-related cancellations.

Baldface reserves the right to cancel a package at any time. In this case guests will receive full refunds. However, the company cannot be held responsible for any guests’ personal inconveniences or travel expenses.
