Summer is Here May 30, 2008
We have officially shifted into our summer season at Baldface! Kicking off our summer calendar is the 2nd Annual Cherry Tops Challenge on July 27th. This event -- for the adventurous only -- is a suffer-fest / poker run featuring over 30 kms of uphill and 34 kms of freeride-style downhill singletrack. Then throughout August and September we are taking bookings for all-inclusive freeride weekends which will take all participants to ride into the next level -- in unprecedented luxury style. Labor Day Weekend is once again set aside for Buddha Mom -- three days of hiking, yoga, creative workshops, and inspirational "parenting in the now" discussions. Check out the summer side of this site which will have more details coming soon.
Goodbye 2008 Apr 8, 2008
Our final guests have left snowcat paradise and flown home to mountain bikes and golf clubs. Winter 2008 was a fabulous season. We are confident we served up the best wilderness experience yet with deep, fresh, light powder right through until the final April run. The most current Baldface story can be found on Snowboard Canada's site. Watch for more stories and photos in the upcoming months. Thanks Everyone!!!
Burton Babes at Baldface Mar 29, 2008
It's almost April on the calendar, but out the windows of Baldface, it's epic mid-winter conditions. We're in the midst of a big storm cycle -- more powder on top of powder -- and an all-women crew from Burton is enjoying every inch of it. Check out Melanie Schonthier's blog on the OnBoard site for an up-to-the-minute report.
Billabong back at Baldface Mar 21, 2008
The Billabong Crew filled up the lodge with good vibes and great stories. Their experience in photos is now online for viewing. Blue skies, deep powder, big air, and smiles all around pretty much sum it up. Take a look at the 30 sweet photos.

The most recent Baldface story has been written and published on Volcom's site. " How does one explain in words how mind-bending a trip to Baldface is? One doesn’t! Certain things in life have to be experienced in order to be understood..." If you'd like to read more ...
