Baldface Lodge, at 6,700 feet elevation, is a one-hour drive or ten-minute helicopter flight from Nelson, B.C. The timber-frame lodge has leather furniture, locally made fixtures and artwork, a wood stove, Persian carpets, and a fully stocked craftsman-style bar. Darts, a pool table, board games, and ping pong ensure exciting evenings and additional ammenities include digital projection equipment, wireless internet, cell reception, a cedar sauna, mountain bike rentals, and a complete network of hiking and biking trails . There is a retail shop stocked with necessities and Baldface gear to bring home as a souvenir.

The main lodge rooms are double occupancy with two single beds and goose down duvets. Bathrooms and showers are shared and just down the hall from the rooms.
The seven timber-frame chalets, a short walk from the main lodge, have two bedrooms (each with a queen and long twin bed) a full bathroom, wrap-around porch, drying closet, and a living room with panoramic views.
Massage appointments with certified therapists are available upon request. A cedar sauna is a rejuvenating way to end a day in the mountains.
