Hi Everyone,

We’ve got snow on the ground at the lodge and temps are plunging below zero already. It seems like the perfect time for me to don my Baldface toque, sit down and share a little Baldface news.

With Labor Day behind us and the mercury dropping, our phone lines start to buzz, so if you are thinking of booking -- and especially if you have a large group -- call or e-mail us soon so you get the dates you are hoping for.

See you when the snow flies!

EdgeWe have just announced our first-ever snowcat naming contest. With one brand new Pisten Bully Edge, and one more yet to be officially christened, we have decided to ask you all to get your creative juices flowing. The two winners will receive a $150 credit at the bar and a photo on our new "Wall of Fame". Submissions must be e-mailed by December 15th. Please write "Cat Naming Contest" as the subject and have fun!

catbarnConstruction is well underway for our new cat barn – a cozy new crib for our 5 snowcats. One of our older cats, Gretchen, has been traded in on a brand new state of the art Pisten Bully PB 200 / 330 HP. Bring your iPods – sound docks will be available!

Shuttle VanWe are proud to introduce a new shuttle company to help make your travels smooth and easy. Adrenaline Adventures offers shuttles in comfortable and safe 14-passenger vans with pick-ups that coordinate easily with our transfer days. usdollarYou might be surprised to hear that the U.S.dollar is stronger than it was last year and is steadily gaining strength against the Canadian dollar. Those of you who were shredding powder with us last year will find your dollar will earn you more turns for the '08-'09 season.
