Most guests arriving from Canadian or European cities will find it easiest to fly into Castlegar. Air Canada operates daily flights from Vancouver (YVR) and Calgary (YYC) to Castlegar, BC (25 minutes from Nelson). The airport's flight schedule may help you organize your trip. After arriving in Castlegar, you will need to rent a car or take a taxi to Nelson.

Be warned that the frequent winter storms often prevent flights from landing on time. For this reason, we advise all guests to arrive a day early just in case, and spend some time at the local ski hill before the helicopter flight up to the lodge.
